Performance One Athletes Lauren Haeger and Kaitlyn Richardson signed Letters of Intent during the signing date back in November. Kaitlyn a Sandra Day O’Conner High School Senior signed with the University of Minnesota. Kaitlyn has used our Softball Strength and Conditioning Program to add power and strength to her body while preventing injuries. Lauren a Senior at Deer Valley High School was on the 2010 18 & Under Pan Am Gold Medal Winning Team this past summer. Lauren has seen a great impact in her on the field performance with Performance One’s Strength and Conditioning Program. She led the state in Home Runs her Junior Year with 16 and dominated on the mound to finish as the top junior in the state of Arizona. Lauren has signed with the University of Florida and will play next year. We want to congratulate these two girls on such a great accomplishment and to let them know it’s not over yet. We have have more work to do to finish out the Senior Season and prepare for College Ball. Good Luck Girls from Coach Joe.
Performance One Athlete Tyler Strom will compete on Saturday in the 4 A II State Championships for Williams Field High School. Tyler came to Performance One as a skinny 119 lb Freshman and has developed into a powerful 185 lb Linebacker for the Black Hawks. Tyler trained in our Sports Specific Strength and Conditioning Program. It is here where he used exercises such as the Snatch and Clean & Jerk to develop explosive power and strength for Football. Along with his success on the Football field Tyler competed at two School Age National Weightlifting Competitions where he finished as high as 4th place in the Nation. We are all proud of Tyler and his accomplishments thus far and want to wish him good luck on Saturday. We know how hard Tyler has worked for this moment because we helped him get there.
