Performance One Wrestler Trey Ronayne earns All American Honors

Basha High School Wrestler Trey Ronayne earned All American Honors at the High School National Wrestling Tournament this week.  Trey is coming back from a devastating elbow injury last season that required Tommy John’s Surgery.  He has worked his tail off to get himself back in shape and stronger then ever.  This is one step back closer to winning an Arizona State Championship.  Great job Trey!

Performance One Weightlifters Getting Ready for University Nationals

Lifters Blake Edwards and Keith Weitz are getting ready for the University Nationals and are looking sharp. Hitting some big weights is the main focus of this week. Friday is the ultimate day of the week where the biggest lifts are tackled. Only the tough should show up to compete that day. For the rest of our lifters we are grinding away with some volume and technical work. April-May will bring on more strength and speed work. Leading us into June-through the beginning of Aug. This period will everyone will help Sarah Robles prepare for the Olympic Games. Train like a champion sacrifice your life and body for greatness.

Sarah Robles makes the 2012 Olympic Team

Congrats to Sarah Robles for winning her 4th straight National Title and earning the number one position on the 2012 Olympic Team.  Sarah tied her Personal Record in the Snatch 114 and close miss at 117 on her third attempt.  In the Clean and Jerk she made 140 missed 144 and came back to make 144 on her third attempt to solidify the win and her spot as the number one Female Lifter for the 4th straight year.  Next up, going for a medal at the Olympics.   Nothing is impossible and no dream is unattainable if you bust your butt to get after it.  Great job Sarah and Coach Joe!  Keep it up!
