We want to welcome Kevin Ashak back to Performance One Advanced Sports Training. Kevin plays Football for the New Orleans VooDoo. In his first season of the Arena Football League he made the All Star Team. He has come back to train under Coach Micela in his off season. Kevin is such an outstanding athlete and such an all around great guy. Welcome back Kevin!
Strong is a documentary video about 3x Olympian Cheryl Hayworth. The video shows the Strongest Women in the History of Women’s Weightlifting in America as she prepares for the 2008 Olympics. Coach Joe Micela makes a small cameo appearance in this documentary. The portion in which Coach Joe Micela was filmed in was at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was in town for the funeral of former USA Weightlifting CEO Roger Degarmo. It was a sober time for Coach Micela. The videos shows the ups and downs for Cheryl as the best female lifter in the history of Women’s Weightlifting in America. Coach Micela had an athlete chasing Cheryl’s American Records.
