We will be offering three programs to the students and athletes of Sequoia Charter School.
1. Athletic Conditioning Preparation (ACP) – ACP is a Speed, Agility, & Conditioning Program geared at teaching individuals the fundamentals of movement for speed and power. Participants will be engaged in running, jumping, and agility drills.
2. Strength & Power Training – Using the Olympic Lifts, the Snatch and Clean & Jerk and their Assistance Exercises, to develop all around strength and power. Participants will be taught the fundamentals of good technique and then will be encouraged to compete in the Sport of Weightlifting.
3. Strength & Conditioning - This program will combine aspects of both the ACP Program and the Strength and Power Program to build overall well rounded athletic development. Whether an athlete or student looking for something more all the programs will enable each student to reach his or her full potential.
