Speed Training for Football at any level must first start with a foundation of strength and technique. Then you must understand the demands of the sport. Quickness and power will always prevail over open field running. Rarely will every player run the equivalent of a 40 yard dash during a single play. However, 3-7 yards is more realistic and many will have to change direction during that play more than once. It is this reason that makes our running program unique to many. 5-7 yard Bubble.

Lifters Blake Edwards and Keith Weitz are getting ready for the University Nationals and are looking sharp. Hitting some big weights is the main focus of this week. Friday is the ultimate day of the week where the biggest lifts are tackled. Only the tough should show up to compete that day. For the rest of our lifters we are grinding away with some volume and technical work. April-May will bring on more strength and speed work. Leading us into June-through the beginning of Aug. This period will everyone will help Sarah Robles prepare for the Olympic Games. Train like a champion sacrifice your life and body for greatness.
