Visiting Athletes hit Personal Records at Performance One

Performance One has three Lindenwood University Weightlifters in town working with Coach Micela for two and half weeks.  Congrats to 75+ weightlifter Becky Walker and 58/63 kilo weightlifter Yuki Matsushima for hitting new Personal Records in the Snatch on Friday. Becky Snatched 87 kilos for a 2 kilo PR and a close miss at 90 kilos. Yuki Snatched 70 kilos very easily.  She is very capable of 72-75 right now.  Rachel Schwartz hit a New Personal Record in the Power Snatch with 45 kilos and Power Clean and Push Jerk with 57 kilos.  All three girls are Junior Lifters working hard this summer. Our women’s team is pushing hard to make a big statement by the end of the year. ‪#‎stronggirls‬ ‪#‎womenwholift‬ ‪#‎performanceoneweightlifting‬ ‪#‎ourgirlsrock‬

2016 Senior Nationals Live Webcast

We would like to wish all of our Performance One Weightlifters competing at the 2016 Senior National Weightlifting Championships. Coach Micela will not be able to attend this years competition because he will be coaching the Tempe Special Olympic Powerlifters in the Arizona State Special Olympics Championships. He is extremely torn that he can’t be with his Weightlifters but they are in good hands with other Performance One Team Members. Good luck to our Weightlifters and Powerlifters this Weekend.
